Nikhil Chinapa

Kalengada Bhemaiah Chinapa, better known as Nikhil Chinapa and VJ Nikhil , is an Indian radio jockey and video jockey and is a popular presenter on MTV India. He was the Festival Director of Asias premier music festival Sunburn Festival in Goa before parting with Percept INC in fall 2013.

Nikhil Chinapa was born in Bangalore and has lived in Agra, where he studied in St. Georges College, Agra. His father, an Indian Army Paratrooper, was then transferred to Secunderabad where he studied in Faust and for a few months in Begumpets Hyderabad Public School. He then went on to study at St. Josephs Boys High School, Bangalore.
